Computer Club
The Community Relations Department offers computer clubs for senior citizens. The clubs use a relaxed social atmosphere to assist senior citizens in learning how to use the computer for reasons ranging from word processing to using the internet for topical searches.
Each instructor led session consists of six students and meets one day a week for six weeks. The clubs are divided by proficiency levels, with beginner level classes for those who have never touched a computer and advancing to higher level classes for those who have had previous experience. The classes are offered free of charge and open lab times are available for club members.
