Crossroads Gallery

Three departments of the University of Notre Dame opened the Crossroads Gallery in October 2003 (the Institute for Latino Studies, the Snite Museum of Art, and the Art Department of Art). The exhibits were organized for the benefit of community citizens and to provide exhibition opportunities for Notre Dame students and faculty. Currently the Institute for Latino studies bring in the exhibits. It is encouraged for the general public to visit the Snite Museum on campus.

Artist: Jason Cytacki, Christos Romelia, Joe Small, and Brooke Vertin

Title of Exhibit: " El Llanto del Papel: Latino Legends in Two Dimensions " express their interpretations of Latino folk legends, ghost stories, and fairy tales using the media of printmaking, painting, and photography.

Open Reception: Friday, June 5, 2009 at 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Daily: Free admission Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm. Public parking is available. Visit the ND Downtown Office, 217 S Michigan St., South Bend.

Past Exhibits: Various artists (Institute for Latino Studies); New Faces (Department of Art); Fresh (Art, Art History); and Nyame Brown (Department of Art)
