The Office of Community Relations serves as a link between the University of Notre Dame and its neighbors in the Michiana area. As a Catholic institution of higher education, the University strives to be a good neighbor and a valued member of the community.   • Crossroads Gallery Exhibit: "Materia Prima: Recent paintings and Prints " Ramiro Rodriguez's works have been inspired by his evolving role as a son, brother, husband, and parent. Materia Prima is a collection of paintings and prints that deal with familial relationships. All displaying exhibits are free to the community. Visit the Notre Dame Downtown Office (217 S. Michigan St., South Bend) Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 4:30pm. The exhibit will be displayed through February 19, 2010.
  • The Science Cafe: "TBD" The program will be held in the Crossroads Gallery Notre Dame Downtown Office (217 S. Michigan St., South Bend). February, 2010 at 6:00pm until 7:30pm.
  • Senior Citizen Lecture Series: “2009 Tax Changes” Join us on February 22, 2010 if you are 55 years and older to hear about the topic covered by a Notre Dame Accounting Professor. Seating is limited. This series will take place from 11:30am - 1:00pm at Notre Dame's Robinson Community Learning Center (921 N. Eddy St., South Bend). Please call 631-3249 to reserve your seat.
  • Tax Assistance Program: Bring all forms that apply to you if you earned $39,000 or less to have your taxes prepared free by Notr Dame Accounting Students. This is a "walk-in" Monday only program beginning February 8 (excluding March 8) through April 12, 2009. The students will begin preparing at 5:30pm until 8:00pm at the Notre Dame Downtown Office (217 S. Michigan St., South Bend)
  • Creating A Safe Community: “Will continue early spring ” The program will be in the Crossroads Gallery Notre Dame Downtown Office (217 S. Michigan St., South Bend).
